Director of Human Resources

Los Angeles firm looking for a sophisticated, strategic Human Resources Professional to assist with the continued development of their Human Resources department and all relevant functions/objectives. Will oversee: Employee Relations, Recruitment and Retention, Performance and Compensation Management, Employee Benefits, Training and Development for staff, Adherence to Legal and Regulatory requirements in addition to Firm Policy and Procedures and more. Will play key role in the selection and implementation process of a new HRIS system. Manage and mentor team of four and interact heavily with peer group. Will work closely with Executive Director in addition to close working relationships with Partners and Associate Attorneys. <BR><BR>Firm is highly regarded, based in Los Angeles but recognized Nationally with frequent mentions in the National Law Journals for their strength and excellence in litigation. Environment is collegial and progressive. 200 + attorneys. <BR><BR>Requires eight+ years experience with all fundamental HR disciplines in a professional services firm with a preference for large law firm experience at a Director or possibly Manager level.
